In the Beginning…

I have a suspicion that when I start talking about family history and genealogy, most people can relate to the woman in the picture above. So instead of bombarding you with every brilliant and interesting tidbit I find, I decided to jump into the 21st century (14 years late…) and share it all through this blog. That way those who enjoy it can jump into the experience with me, and those that aren’t quite as interested, can peruse at their leisure.

The focus of this blog, “Leafing Through the Past”, is to bring together information about my family – the Richards. And the Skibos. And the Coys, And the Farkas’. But recently we had some pretty awesome additions to our family, so I also want to include the Minteers, Fords, Eisenhoods, Baumunks, and any other new branches I discover in this ever growing family tree.

So sit back, let me do all the work, and enjoy the ride!
